The PODAB History

Established in 1945, PODAB is a family-owned business that pioneered the drying cabinet in the 1990s and specializes in providing laundry equipment to both the professional and self-service sectors all around the world. Our washers, dryers and cabinets are created with advanced technology for innovative, energy-efficient and user-friendly laundry management.
The company headquarters still remain in Gothenburg, Sweden, where the company was once founded. Today, it is accompanied by a second office and warehouse in Stockholm, Sweden, and in 2008, the North American office opened in Sarasota, Florida, marking a significant step in the company’s global presence. PODAB exports commercial and professional laundry equipment worldwide.
The company remains family-owned, with both the second and third generations actively involved in its operations, ensuring a blend of tradition and innovation.
